Students from Cysoing and William Brookes School Much Wenlock
Exchange Visit October 2007
Our Membership. Our membership continues to grow and covers a very wide range of ages from 5 years to 80+ years: our current membership has 115 members, including 30 family groups.
Liaison with Cysoing. The formal twinning of our 2 towns was completed with the signing of the Twinning Charter which took place at Cysoing in September and at Much Wenlock in October 2004. There have been a number of contacts made between Les Petits Amis de Cysoing, where the primary school children of both towns have been exchanging letters and cards and also learning about each other's traditions; also students from William Brookes School have travelled to Cysoing as part of the Annual Exchange Visit. A number of French students have stayed with English families to improve their English.
Annual Exchange Visits. Annual organised official exchange visits take place between the two towns, the host town alternating between Much Wenlock and Cysoing. The next official exchange visit will take place in Much Wenlock from Saturday 25th to Tuesday 28th October 2008
